charming castle
in the medicine

Proudly standing on its little hill,
this castle located in the Médoc has become a guest house
full of charm and history (to discover via this link)...

Keeping the authenticity of the place was an essential objective. Thus, the doors worn by time and the walls of the staircase
just needed to be highlighted while remaining in the state.

You can discover the video of Karine who creates directly on the wall the portrait of a queen and a king on the wall facing each other.

For the decoration and layout of the castle , significant research work made it possible to find furniture and accessories in keeping with the atmosphere of the castle.
Lots of oxidized wood and burnt wood on the tables helped to give a soul to this future guest house.
The furniture was custom designed by COUTUME{STUDIO}, found or comes from our partner designers.

Details

The interior architects Frédéric & Karine AGUIARD have completely restructured this beautiful heritage-listed Arcachonnaise: the spaces have been re-designed, its volumes airy, with the primary desire to preserve its decorative elements with the greatest respect for its services of origins.

The dentiled wooden bow window has been rehabilitated, the ceilings of the building have been carefully chiseled in order to preserve their original rosettes, the plaster moldings with designs of intertwined acanthus leaves (emblem of the Villa) have been been reproduced identically.

After 7 months of work, the beautiful century-old with contemporary accents has regained its former nobility.
