DECORATION OF A 19C ARCACHONNAISE
Renovation, extension and decoration of a 19th century Arcachonnaise in the heart of the Saint Augustin district in Bordeaux, COUTUME{STUDIO} Interior designer and decorator in Bordeaux.
This former holiday residence built in 1850, among the vineyards, historically located at the gates of Bordeaux, evokes the architectural style of the extravagant villas of the winter town of Arcachon.
The interior architects Frédéric & Karine AGUIARD have completely restructured this beautiful heritage-listed Arcachonnaise: the spaces have been re-designed, its volumes airy, with the primary desire to preserve its decorative elements with the greatest respect for its services of origins.The bow window dentiled in wood has been rehabilitated, the ceilings of the building have been carefully chiseled in order to preserve their original rosettes, the plaster moldings with designs of intertwined acanthus leaves (emblem of the Villa) have been reproduced identically.
After 7 months of work, the beautiful century-old with contemporary accents has regained its former nobility….
