At the helm of the interior design agency COUTUME{STUDIO}, Karine and Frédéric Aguiard excel in the art of creating unexpected dialogues between two, often opposing, worlds.

THE UNUSUAL ENCOUNTER OF TWO CONTRASTING WORLDS

The alliance of the raw aesthetic typical of COUTUME{STUDIO} and the technical and aesthetic sophistication of Vincent Poujardieu. The dialogue between the designer's sculptural works and the unique character of the venue powerfully highlights their respective aesthetic singularity.
In its scenographic approach, COUTUME{STUDIO} explored the physical characteristics of the Nida luminaires by appropriating their golden material, playing with their plastic representation to capture another dimension, thus allowing for the inauguration of a true theatricality of the work within the space.

The exhibition offered a visual narrative where the works and the venue seemed to form an indivisible whole, like a grand pictorial fresco.

Vincent Poujardieu has exhibited for the first time in his hometown. This exhibition allowed him to experiment with a new way of presenting his Collectible Design pieces, creating a unique aesthetic experience in its own right.

An exceptional designer, known for his sleek and technological pieces, playing on imbalance and cantilever, the Bordeaux-based artist Vincent Poujardieu continues an international career.
His Nida collection has been exhibited at Christie's in Paris, as well as at PAD. Nida lamps are also showcased at the Villa Albertine in NYC. In 2020 and 2021, the Mobilier National acquired several models from the collection.
