Second home renovation
Karine Pelloquin and Frédéric Aguiard brought life to a fisherman's house. A renovation of soul and talent...
A holiday home, this Atlantic home port offers architectural and decorative intimacy. An old oak door now opens onto the glass roof designed by the COUTUME{STUDIO} decoration firm, in harmony between its raw wood and the baroque concrete of Hungarian tiling. A Scandinavian seat invites its natural design into the cozy living room, next to a revisited Napoleon bench and prototypes from the decoration studio: molded wooden pieces as pendant lights, white bell as a light counterpoint, white marble coffee tables.
In light of a "big wood budget", old formworks washed, brushed and then sanded adorn the kitchen cupboards, while a miller's ladder, with a raw beam for a step, gives height to this recycling inspired, while hiding a technical fallback.
Baskets for lampshades, a sofa stripped of its tassels to showcase its new design, a table extending its menu with a granite top, glass carboys amber this cabinet of curiosities...
Alongside this luminous reuse, these wildly creative people have also added their own creations, setting the course for their new interior design activity.
