Furnishing a mountain chalet
In towns such as Meribel, Chamonix, Megève, Courchevel or in Switzerland, traditional chalets are gradually being renovated to provide the necessary comfort for their new occupants. Often secondary homes intended for occasional rental by their owners, they must meet several criteria. A space designed for high-end clientele that can be modulated according to the desired capacity.
The direct mountain environment leads to the use of natural materials such as wood and stone and to applying harmonious and relaxing hues. It is essential to focus on welcoming furniture, an effect created by furniture with organic shapes, plays of enveloping textures, and different light sources to create a warm and subdued atmosphere. In addition to unique decor, amenities are important for leisure time or relaxing after outdoor days spent practicing winter sports: swimming pools, jacuzzis, gyms, and home cinemas are highly appreciated.
